The state51 Conspiracy is a registered data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To whom does this policy apply?

This policy applies to anyone that uses Greedbag (‘the platform’) to sell their music, e.g. record labels (‘the user’).

Why is this policy required?

This privacy policy is needed because we collect information about the user and decide how it is used.

What information do we collect? 

  • Your name and address;
  • Your email address;
  • Your content management system password;
  • Your payment information;
  • Your IP address.

How do we use information?

  • Invoicing and payment;
  • Improving the service;
  • Allowing access to the service;
  • Maintenance of the service;
  • Communicating with you about the service

With whom do we share information? 

We will only share information with third-party companies in order to fulfil the obligations described in our general service agreement.

e.g. we may share payment information with banking services to process payments to you.

How long will the information be stored?

The information will be kept for a reasonable amount of time, as required by us to fulfil the obligations described in our general service agreement.

Where we are required by law to keep data after it has ceased to be useful, we do so.

We are required to keep some data for statutory periods for compliance with tax codes and other matters pertaining to the proper running of the company.

How will the information be kept secure? 

Only people authorised by us are allowed to access and alter information held by us;

The platform has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

e.g. we use HTTPS and SSL and force TLS end to end encryption on all data serving transactions.
