One of the main reasons releases get delayed before going live is because of incorrect use of capital letters in artist names and release / track titles.
You can download the full iTunes Style Guide at the bottom of the page, but we’ve listed the most important aspects here.
As a rule, the first letter of almost all words in product or release title should be capitalised. The following words however should remain in lower case:
a, an, and, as, for, from, of, or, so, the, to and yet.
And prepositions of four letters or fewer:
at, by, for, from, in, into, of, off, on, onto, out, over, to, up, with
The only scenario in which these words would keep the capital letter is if they are the first or last words in the title, or the first or last words in brackets.
