Kraak & Smaak release the second single from the duo’s highly anticipated forthcoming album, Chrome Waves. ‘The Future Is Yours‘, the debut single from the album has received a tremendous amount of praise from the likes of Mixmag (who made it their tune of the month) and was even performed live on Holland’s biggest music TV show, Toppop. Needless to say, 2013 has been a great ride for the duo so far, with chart-topping success and performances at clubbing island’s biggest party ‘We Love’ at Space.
The quality continues to flow with the second single, ‘Good for the City‘ – a genuine indie-disco smash featuring vocals from the talented Sam Duckworth. Owing as much to the funk and groove of The Clash as it does to the party island where they are suddenly so popular the original is a rip-roaring summer singalong smash destined to blast out of the radio in every city. Remixes come courtesy of portuguese disco don Moullinex, ice cool Nordic beatsmith Diskjokke, UK garage hotshot Marcus Jakes, leftfield breakbeat blasters Howson’s Groove and reggae masters Yesking.
Kraak & Smaak will be hosting a launch party for the release of Chrome Waves on 16th October at The Melkweg Amsterdam as part of this year’s ADE festival. You can now pre-order the CD & 12″ versions of the album from Jalapeno’s very own Greedbag store.
