The album is extremely diverse in nature but somehow, Featurecast (aka Lee Mintram) manages to seamlessly cross over from funk to breaks to drum & bass throughout, whilst still keeping true to his unique sound. One thing all of these tracks do have in common is a fun-loving and positive outlook.
The UK based producer has been marking his authority in the breaks scene for a while now with previous chart-topping releases on Cat Skill Records, Funk Weapons & Super Hi-Fi, not to mention the success of his ‘Channel Surfing’ track which was used on Apple’s iPod TV campaign a while back.
‘Run for Cover’ is already living up to Featurecast’s reputation, having reached the number one spot for album sales on Juno within its first week of release!
